Course Objectives

Our workshop introduces the fundamental concepts of ICD-10-CM coding and covers the current year ICD-10-CM Coding Guidelines. It is a great refresher for experienced coders and billers.
 
 All attendees will receive an electronic copy of current ICD-10-CM coding guidelines which should be used on the national AAPC coding certification exam as well as access to the instructor's annotated copy of the guidelines. Several practice exercises will be administered to facilitate mastery of ICD-10-CM coding.
 

All attendees who plan to take any national certification exam offered by the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) are strongly encouraged to use the current year CPT®, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS Level II coding books. You may purchase current year coding manuals on AAPC's website at www.aapc.com.
